Got kids? Want to get them out of the house and give them the sort of fun that is both exciting and educational? The Bettendorf Family Museum offers just this sort of opportunity to you and your family of little ones (or big ones who are still little at heart). Everyone will love exploring the 44,000 square feet of exhibits, instruction space, stages, classrooms, art studios, labs, and an outdoor science themed playground. The Family Museum hosts numerous shows and exhibitions, and no two visits to the space are the same. Some of the past shows include Grossology: The Impolite Science of the Human Body, and Hubble Space Telescope: New View of the Universe.
As well as the traditional museum admission, the Family Museum also rents out space to host birthday parties, pizza parties, or just-for-fun parties.
If you’re looking for some fun and enriching activities for your child, consider some of the Family Museum’s many special programs, like summer camps, dance classes, and preschool arts programs. Believe us when we tell you that it’s a unique treat to spend an afternoon immersed in the Family Museum’s diverse range of activities and events, and it’s not just the kids who will come away having learned something new and exciting.
